Christmas morning...

Christmas has got to be one of our favorite days of the year.
I can actually say it is my husbands favorite day of the year.
He starts planning for the next year the day after.
We don't have two legged kids, we have four legged.
So, we spoil ourselves and our sweet boys.

For years I worked in Retail and really didn't appreciate
Christmas as I lived the hell of retail for two months.
Now that I have been in the civilian world for the last 6 years
I go all out knowing it is my husbands favorite day of the year.

I thought I would share a little bit of our Christmas morning.

Santa was here...

A little bit of vintage...

Stockings for the boys!

The morning wouldn't be quite right without a big fire!

My Mr. O's fabulous wrapping skills!

Laddy digging into his stocking.

 Diesel in his stocking

My two favorite presents, both vintage of course!

We start the day with coffee, then after working up a hunger we
make eggnog panettone french toast and bacon for breakfast
then once all done and surrounded by gifts
we have lunch.
There are no calories on Christmas day.

I hope your Christmas was a wonderful day filled with much joy and love.
Till next year!

Ciao,
F

Christmas Trees...

I love Christmas trees, I really do.
May favorite memories of Christmas as
a child was going out to the woods or the
Christmas tree farm and cutting down the
most perfect tree.
The smells, the mud, rain and all those needles
after dragging it in. Then the fun began, decorating.
Now that I am an adult I tend to be a little more open
to different kinds of trees. I admit though I am still
partial to a real tree.
Here are a few options I found this year including a
so so picture of our trees this year.

They make me want to sing,
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas tree...

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and the festivities begin.
I can't wait.

tannenbaum....

Here is proof that you don't need
a live tree to have
a Christmas tree in one's home.
There seems to be many a version today.
